Our streets should work for everyone — whether you walk, bike, or drive.

Thank you to Bike SD for organizing and all the neighbors who came together at the El Cajon Boulevard Hackathon to design safer, more vibrant spaces for our community.

A huge thank you to @voiceofsandiego for organizing today’s #Politifest2025. I was honored to receive an inaugural Politifest Solutions Showdown Award. I’m grateful I could share the stage with Mayor Gloria and Aimee Faucett, both leaders who care deeply about San Diego’s future.

Totally hear you—bike lanes should actually keep people safe. Although Harbor Dr. isn’t in my district, I’ll have my team connect with the two Council Offices it crosses. Appreciate you raising this. Myself and my team share similar experiences in other parts of the city.

Shanah Tovah to all who are celebrating.

Rosh Hashanah is a holiday rooted in optimism and hope. In the spirit of the holiday we center the Jewish tenet of “tikkun olam.” We reaffirm our commitment to doing all we can in the year ahead to make San Diego a more just and restorative place.
