Yeah, the right way to think about CBS is that the same thing happened there as happened with Twitter. People outside tech may not know his name, but Ellison was the original Musk-style shithead tycoon in the industry, dating back to the 90s.
To be clear Larry Ellison, a billionaire Trump donor who believed the 2020 election was stolen from Trump, used his own money to buy CBS and install his son as the boss.
