My favorite was when he was on Conan and Courtney Thorne-Smith was trying to promote her horrible Carrot Top movie: youtu.be/bKmadR4Ye54?...

It's definitely better if it's thumbs-and-brain grafted on.

I thought the point of openai was that you didn't have to write for yourself.

He is going around saying people shouldn't have guns, that should help.

He’s going to earn his Cava money the hard way.

Is he a real worm? An actual worm?

I wonder if ‘heads’ is a regional thing. We had them (and ‘hessians’) in high school around the same time in Central PA, but I don’t see references to them in pop culture.

It seemed like it mattered a whole bunch from 2021-2024 though. Weird.

Why shoot anything out? He had just gone around the car and videoed their license plate. Even if they left, they could put a warrant out for them.

That sounds like anti-sun-burning-out fake news.

Yeah, but before it burns out, the increase in luminosity is going to make my solar panels worth so much more, so I'm going to vote for letting it happen.

I think the difference is that Bush was using his popularity at the time to try to do what the neocons wanted, and Trump‘s going to do what he wants since nobody will stop him even though he’s already unpopular.

Bush’s approval going into the Iraq war was around 57%. He didn’t really start tanking until the whole thing went south, though it was reverting back to normal levels after the 9/11 spike.

It seems like the same thing happened after the 1918 Spanish Flu...it was a massive event at the time, and for a long time after, popular media made no reference to it. After something like that happens, nobody wants to be reminded of it.

My wife and I were #87 and #88. At least they did give us Spirited, that's a really fun holiday musical and it makes me want to see Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman doing one.
December 22, 2025 at 4:56 PM
That sounds like something that is very much not unrelated.

Was it Chamblin Bookmine? That place is an insane used bookstore/massive fire hazard.
