Posts about Toronto Housing almost exclusively, because I haven't figured out how to present other aspects of my life publicly.
I literally thought it was a new Youtube feature for language learning 🫣

Do you have details about what a "public inquiry" could look like? What changes could result from one?

Other than knife skills what other fundamentals did you have trouble finding people to teach you?

They're developing their own games, so there's some innovation there. Or are you asking about the funding?

Sometimes I don't feel like Toronto is metropolitan compared to:
- Singapore (lived there for 4 months)
- Tokyo (lived in suburb for 1.5 years)
- Chicago (visited for a weekend)
- Hong Kong (visited for a week)
- Seoul & Busan (visited for a week)

Or it resents that it became metropolitan?

It is unclear to me if:
1. Any progress gets nullified in a few years due to backlash
2. When it does win, even temporarily, how that happens. Do you convince normies by showing them how uncool NIMBYs are?

Do you have any readings on either these?

There's a lot to love in Montreal and Vancouver. But as someone who lives in Toronto and actively trying to make it better, I'm genuinely surprised it made the top 3.

My version of this is much more cringe: powered by Soylent and frustration with the Toronto Transit Comission
