very fair, & he's also inconsistent with his aggressiveness -- exhibit A is the 4th & 8 choice last game. goliath strat would say kick the FG, don't take shot plays into triple coverage etc.

I think what MLF is doing here is classic game theory.

David strategy (increase variance though aggression) when the underdog—Goliath strategy (conservative) when favored.

Intuitively, I agree with this, but practically—it hasn’t worked at all.
