The RNG was there yesterday with 14 GNDs. See my post yesterday Probably the Elberry bird? Certainly there was BtD there today we saw fly in yesterday

Hide is out of bounds apparently! best shots I have seen you can actually see what it is. I had views of a distant ‘ orange-billed’ tern at the time misindentified

That looks like a much better view than I had. It was a great lesson on changing identifications and in a flotilla free zone😂

Yes it is! Unwittingly I took a picture of both due to idiots. Still fuming😒 Ill crop them out and repost

Looks good, certainly wingbar looks very grey and diffuse pale area at base of bill, can't see spectacles but has eye-ring. Sadly I didn't get the drake in the flight photo. May be any duck in flight experts might confirm.
