Pushing oneself to give it a try is useful, as a learning exercise if nothing else. My few times to TBRU were all alone and I only made one or two acquaintances who I'd be pleased to say hi to again. Nothing deeper than that. Even so, it's felt easier to "belong" once I knew some folks there.

I find adjusting is harder going west, but that could be confirmation bias. In either direction it's the staying awake until a "normal" time that's the main challenge for me. By evening, as soon as I'm not actively doing something my eyes get heavy. I've nodded off at the dinner table before.

I've done a few trips to the UK, and South Africa. One to Japan. My strategy is to stay awake until 8/9pm in the new timezone (esp. hard if landing in the morning since I can't sleep on planes). I'll still wake up at ~4/5am and be bored. I'll stay up a later each night and be adjusted in ~4 days.

Very cool - I've been curious about this one. Spoke to my clinic about it when it got approved but they didn't know about availability and logistics of supplying it yet at that time.

Please let us know what your experience is with it! (any side effects, or challenges getting it)

Superman 3's ridiculous computer capture/transformation scene was very distressing to me at age 9.
Also, Alien (which I saw at a too-young 10) left me with years-long heeby-jeebies about dark corridors at night.

At Long Last Love.
It's a silly musical with a rice paper plot (only there to stick together a set of Cole Porter songs) but the cast is a delight and the audio is from live singing on set, which lends a sincerity to things (even if it means the singing "isn't perfect").

Smacks of desperation for showing increased "engagement" on the app usage stats...
(or maybe a bug, but I am too jaded to automatically give that benefit of the doubt these days)
