Correct. That is the recommendation. I think he is on donepizel but that is for early stage and he has progressed. It stops the decline for 5mths according to trials but thats early stage

He is probably on donepezil hence the plaster on his hand. Fits with the frequent MRI scans. Fatigue can be a side effect. Who knows they may have had to sedate him to calm him down.
