… in the world. I can’t see Reform losing their lead in the polls unless Starmer is ousted and the Labour Party remember what they stand for. The prospect of a soft bell Labour Party v a far right outfit with all the press behind them, is not good for the country.

I’m not sure I agree. As much as I dislike everything the current Tory Party stands for, how is this good news for the country? We have a government that can’t control the political narrative and an extreme right party buoyed by a pliant media supplanting the most successful political party

Starmer is not fit for this moment or these dangerous times we live in. Absolutely pathetic response from a supposed human rights lawyer. He’s not the worst prime minister we’ve had but he’s making a good fist of it. I genuinely don’t see him lasting much longer.

Maybe real politik prevents British Prime Ministers from speaking out against US Presidents, but this is such an easy win for Starmer. The US is for the time being no longer our ally and we will no longer be at their beck and call. But then Starmer would have to grow a pair..

If Starmer actually stood up to Trump, I think it would do wonders for his personal approval ratings and the government’s.

Well, all hopes of 2026 being a better year than 2025 has gone down the toilet. The Chinese will most certainly be making a move on Taiwan after this.
