Thank you Andrew and @gunnerblog.bsky.social for your thoughtful discussion on this subject. What happened is a stain on the club’s reputation. Thank god we at least have people like you in our community. I hope the club are listening.

I agree! Thanks for sifting through the garbage and summarising it all. You’re protecting my eyes from all the scrolling!

Morning, with Saka coming back and Nwaneri still a great option on the right, are there situations where you would consider playing Saka up front? Haven’t seen much talk of this but think he has all the attributes. Surely a more dynamic option than Merino? #arsecastextra

It’s unreal how often that happens.

Totally! Obviously following sleep hygiene rules helps but obsessing about how every extra minute your awake increases your risk of xyz is not going to work.

What drink do you have prepared for when we sign a left back in January instead of an attacker? The sad bit his that I’m only half joking. All our left backs seem injury prone and it’s crippling our attacks with Saka being doubled up on and diminishing our left side. #arsecastextra

Well done Clive! I’ve been enjoying these shows. I know this is the light version for mass media consumption, but even this little dose of calm and rational analysis on Arsenal is a breath of fresh air.

I don’t think it was bad but I think we look confused as to how to break them down. I think as you said the distances were well off and in particular Odegaard and Saka have been disrupted. Particular the way Partey normal gets the ball around the side to Saka. They’re locking that down well.
