Currently at the open-late vet (not emergency but…) w my cat who turns out to have liver problems & a slightly enlarged heart & asthma & arthritis. She was acting weird & hadn’t moved from an odd-for-her spot all day. It’s eleventy million $$ but I would’ve felt bad if she’d died in the night.

I don’t fully understand this decision. Is she taking her ball and going home because he did the most predictable thing in the world but this time to her? Is she preparing to run for Senate like the rumors suggest? She’s doing some kind of weird quasi-apology/reputation recovery tour - v confusing.

Imagine any other president obsessing over tv this much. Is there nothing else to break? A room to destroy somewhere? Not a single thing to do but watch tv and grouse about petty grievances?

Also, central Texas had an enormous influx of German settlers in the mid-19th century. At one time, apparently, everyone in San Antonio was fluent in English, Spanish, AND German, so commonly were they spoken together. Possibly not the stonecutter, though…

That’s a hard position to be in too. The best you can do is the best you can do. Sometimes we have to think like when kids are little - are they alive? are they fed? are they clean? are they moving around at the level they can? are they loved? If yes, GREAT!! Atta girl.

I know a woman who’s won awards for her work with trafficking victim who also, and with apparently no cognitive dissonance at all, is an AVID Trump supporter and proudly displays her photo with him at work. It’s insane.
