Today, I learned that he passed away earlier this year. RIP. Pour one out for your homies. i haz a sad.

We didn't have much contact after that. Every November, I googled his name. Why November? He was a Marine.

But, then, one day, he said, "I don't want to be in a relationship because I could die at any time." This was after I hadn't heard from him in awhile. Turns out he had been in the hospital fighting for his life (...)

He was diagnosed with congestive heart failure (or something like that). He lived with his parents. We would text and chat. He visited. (...)
