If you don't already, watch Colbert. He is a man with no more f*cks left to give. And it's glorious.

If you voted for ANY republican in 2024, you own stock in their cruel, death-dealing budget that steals from those in need and gives to those with insatiable greed. Repent.

The Big Bullshit Bill cuts student aid programs by $351 billion. That means new limits on Pell Grant eligibility, new caps on how much a student can borrow, roll backs of protections from predatory lenders, and a repeal of President Biden’s student debt forgiveness program.

The Big Bullshit Bill includes language from Republican wish list bill the REINS Act that would give Congress new control over federal rulemaking. They know they could NEVER get this bill past the Senate's 60-vote threshold, which is why they're squeezing it into this one.

The Big Bullshit Bill codifies the DOGE/Project 2025 attack on funding for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and it completely dissolves the Public Accounting Oversight Board - the government’s top auditor of public companies.

The Big Bullshit Bill has a targeted attack on Planned Parenthood that blocks Medicaid dollars from going to any health clinic that provides abortions. Of course this will ultimately block patients from accessing essential health care needs like birth control, pap smears, and STI tests.

The Big Bullshit Bill cuts $300 billion from SNAP. They were only mandated to cut it by $230 billion, but why stop there?

The stringent work requirements and cost-shifting to state governments will lead to millions of Americans losing access to fresh produce and groceries.

The Big Bullshit Bill includes language from Republican wish list bill HR 9495 which grants the Treasury Secretary unfettered discretion to designate any US nonprofit a “terrorist supporting organization” and strip it of its tax-exempt status.

Trump will surely abuse this to attack his opposition.

The Big Bullshit Bill will not only decimate Medicaid (something that *no* congressional district supports by more than 15%), it will also codify the Trump administration's proposed changes to the ACA and allow its federal subsidies to expire. Millions of Americans will lose coverage.
