Husband, Father, Pop-Pop. Proud Democrat (wake me up in 4 years). Jack of all trades, master of none. Lover of famous quotes.
Interesting fact: During the late 60s, there was a noticeable drop in work-related back injuries. The drop in injuries was attributed to the popularity of the miniskirt. The short skirt forced women to use proper form when lifting heavy objects lest they expose themselves by bending at the hip.

I'm surprised that I didn't know her by name. I got lost doing a bit of a deep dive into her life and her music after reading this post. I grew up in the 70s and I remember some of her songs. What a beautiful soul she was and is. Thanks for highlighting this for us. What a special person.

Same. We started early this year. Put up the decorations yesterday. Had a lot of help from my granddaughter. She even helped Pop-Pop set up the pianocorder. It's her 4th Christmas but she's just now old enough to see the magic of it all. It's awesome!

Personally, I've given up on trying to fix any of this. I'm honestly just exhausted. I feel like, at this point, it's better to just prepare ourselves to sweep up the ashes than to try to prevent them from burning down the house. They're just going to have to self-discover how wrong they were.

Agree. The purpose of reading is to get the words off of the page and into your brain. Whether that happens through your eyes or your ears isn't that important. I switch back and forth between text and audio. I read the book when I can and listen when I my eyes and hands are busy doing other things.

Windows key + M to minimize all windows. I think I use this one the most.
