...with sprites overtop a 3D environment. Battles see the two fighter sprites superimposed on a diorama-like dais as they execute their moves. Very text-heavy, laden with FMV cutscenes, and slow-moving, this two-disc game is nevertheless interesting and highly atmospheric.

The 3D models are overlaid on pre-rendered backgrounds linked by FMVs for that special '90s look. Mechanically similar to The Crow, and it looks & controls about the same. This game was OK on PC & PS1 but took a visual & frame-rate dive on the Saturn.
