I can think of a few other -isms that are causing massive damage as well. Maybe one day as a species, we'll grow out of them before we kill ourselves off.

I've been fighting this fucking kind of post for 10 years now. I don't think people are maliciously posting this stuff, I think they see it, believe it (confirmation bias), and just think they're passing it along. I wish I knew the answer to combat this kind of mis-information.
