I’d add Huggins to that (bar giving the ball away for the goal) and Fink who held the ball up well and looked to bring in others. Hopefully first of many goals tonight
seimon76.bsky.social
Boyd Munce has given us a bit of bite in midfield. Fink linking the play well. Be interesting to see how long before some changes are made to protect players for the weekend maybe?

Send over any thoughts/questions on Munster or Connacht, and particularly any creative ideas for who plays centre on the weekend!

There was no where for him to go other than back to Norris as well. There’s no point playing that ball at all

Just caught up with the two goals that #Wycombe conceded yesterday. Every bit as bad as they sounded.

We’ve been conceding self inflicted goals all season. Seemed to just stop for the second, a lack urgency to get a block in

Duff has quite a job on

#Chairboys

I would have Boyd-Munce, Westetgaard and Henderson as my midfield trio. That might be harsh on Leahy but it’s not working at the moment. Be interesting to see who he goes for against Fulham u21s
seimon76.bsky.social
Do wonder whether Norris was selected due to the youth in the team, as Duff highlights the inexperience. Maybe he felt he needed an older head?

There’s some veiled criticism of recruitment and squad size in the is as well
seimon76.bsky.social
“Football, bloody hell” is how you react🤣
seimon76.bsky.social
After #Wycombe pull off an unlikely draw it’s down City with the boy for the first time this season.

Visitors Leyton Orient were very poor when the #Chairboys played themselves in the cup, but can they rouse themselves against one of the divisions big guns?
seimon76.bsky.social
They’ve unravelled the culture of the club and it’s going to be very difficult to get that back
seimon76.bsky.social
It takes every new manager five games to realise we can’t play with three centre backs (I’m assuming we’re doing that today?)
seimon76.bsky.social
Don’t really see what van Sas has done to be dropped
seimon76.bsky.social
At some point these players have to be playing themselves out of the team. I felt that last weekend
seimon76.bsky.social
Mullins was anonymous last weekend and hooked at half time so surprised he’s starting
seimon76.bsky.social
He looked so comfortable for QPR in the week. Great to see him fitting in so seamlessly at a higher level. On the positive side the goals have been shared around this season, something like 16 different scorers
seimon76.bsky.social
Also wouldn’t pick Grimmer as a tight CB, if that’s what we’ve done again. Pick an actual CB (we’ve got plenty🤣)
seimon76.bsky.social
Think it’s also how you put together the midfield to get the best out of the three players there. I’d be picking Boyd Munce as the six and then two others ahead of him
seimon76.bsky.social
We’ve got so many players it’s hard to work out what’s going on🤣
seimon76.bsky.social
Be great if it was a massive duffel coat🤣
seimon76.bsky.social
It’s lack of curiosity that’s most disheartening. By all means listen to the WRU but then take that away to scrutinise and test it against other perspectives. Educate as well as inform.

Welcomed back into the fold last night.

Listen to Dan and Steve talk about the weather in Ireland and witness how we collapse under the pressure of the panel last week getting 14/15 of the team for the Lions game rigjt🤣

Listen, like, share👇🏻💙🖤

New pod! 🔵⚫️

The panel go through Cardiff’s win over Lions, look ahead to a trip to Munster, plus Halfpenny is back, CF10 meet the WRU and there’s very different weather forecasts for Limerick.
