The Apprentice was cancelled in 2015 due to some concerns about trump. He decided to start his own network, and knew how to get tons of publicity - just run for POTUS! He had no intention of becoming the president. After elected, he realized just how advantageous this was for himself and his brand.

I used to wonder what people were attracted to and assumed I just couldn't see his “redeeming” qualities. Turns out, there are none. Absolutely zip, zilch, nada! It's his seething hate that they cherish as they believe it validates their own.

My anti-depressants have been upped enough over the past 10 years of this bull-shite that I never shed a tear. Until recently watching the movie Goodbye June.

I'm 71. What was ALL that stuff I learned growing up? The USA is a melting pot of cultures/religions/nations and that was the whole point of this nation?

He's always been a fool. For decades his breadth of influence was primarily just the lies he told himself. I never imagined there would be folks who took him seriously by believing his BS. But, here we are.

Agree! I’m 70 and have never hated anyone. Disliked a few, but nobody ever deserved my hate. It’s like we need a completely different word that, when uttering it, everyone knows who you’re speaking of and exactly how it feels.

There’s gotta be more than one set. Why would it just be this regime who controls the release? Somebody has to have a duplicate set tucked away.

Yep, the insurrection was the goal. Trump was PO’d when his SS handlers wouldn’t let him go to the capitol after his speech. He would have enjoyed the riot knowing it was all to save his “honor”.

I saw something on FB a week before 1/6 that caused me pause. I don’t recall what was said, but it left me feeling something ominous was being organized for the sixth.
Now, if I got that impression, wouldn’t someone in national security recognize the threat?

Don’t we all have a right to our personal beliefs? Throop can think abortion is morally wrong. I disagree, but he doesn’t have to change his belief to make me comfortable. I appreciate that Throop doesn’t think the government should butt in on a woman’s very difficult, and personal, decision.
