Brendan Crowell (Ohio State): Real-time GNSS data are extremely useful for earthquake and tsunami warning, especially for quickly constraining the magnitudes of the largest events – they don't saturate, and you can estimate magnitude within minutes. Algorithms work well, data quality is key!
