Why did the Cook County SD 130 Administration hire a $199/hr PR firm? 🤔
That's the equivalent of one hour of work for 11 custodians.
We wonder if the parents know how Superintendents Colleen McKay and Carrie Tisch are spending their tax dollars.

Instead of meeting us at the table to negotiate a fair contract, Blue Island School District 130 hired a PR firm after we started speaking out against their racist and anti-union tactics.

Yesterday, our custodians in Blue Island were prevented from speaking at the School Board mtg about their ongoing issues around retaliation & racism from mgmt. Sadly, it's no surprise seeing that they have been unable to honor our existing contract & cont to reject new proposals.
