I love, love, love this series. Book 2 was just as good as the Tainted Cup. I'm in love with Ana and Din and need more in my life. I absolutely hate having to wait for the next one!

I finally need to post all the books I read last month...
I really liked A Harvest of Hearts, especially because of the talking cat and the sentient house 😊 It was a quick, fun fantasy read for me, but a bit predictable

I've just finished The Temple of Fortuna by Elodie Harper. I highly recommend the whole series, even though it made me cry so much! I love historical fiction like that! First book is The Wolf Den

I've finished another Titanic book and even managed to use it for a #52BookClub prompt! I enjoyed this one and definitely recommend 😊

The reading slump hit me hard in February! But overall I still had a great reading month!
Please ignore my daily pages, I absolutely did not read 600 pages a day! I just suck at logging my progress consistently 🫣😅
I'm selkis on Storygraph btw 😊

This was actually a re-read. I read it ages ago and loved it, but then I never continued the series. Now I'm ready!
Great historical fiction with a hint of Arthurian legends and a strong female lead, inspired by real people and events. I loved it!

Sadly, this book wasn't for me, but it's not the book's fault. If you like fairy tales and Ursula K. Le Guin you might like it, as this is what it reminded me of.

I absolutely loved the introduction by the cover artist Kathleen Jennings. I wish we'd get that more often

I totally understand! I always struggle with room on my shelves. My husband and son are also big readers so we've got shelves everywhere!
I love my e-reader, also because it lets me collect even more books 🙈😅

I've just finished Season of the Dragon by Natalie Wright. Great story if you like epic fantasy, intricate world building and of course... DRAGONS 😁

I went to my favourite second-hand bookshop today. I love that I never know what I'm going to find, but I never leave empty-handed.
Adding to my Mark Lawrence collection, and I want to read more by Andy Weir. I'm still having a great time with Project Hail Mary!

This felt like cosy nonfiction for everyone who likes Jane Austen and wants to know what it would have been like to live during her time. I enjoyed it even though it took me ages to read

I love this series so much! ❤️

Oh and autocorrect keeps on insisting that "Otherlands" really should be "Netherlands". That would be a very different story 😂

This was such a cute cosy historical fantasy. I loved the main character Fern, loved the dragons and want to know more about the magic. I wish it was longer!

My #Storygraph wrap-up for January. It was a great reading month to start the year! My biggest surprise was Emily Wilde's Encyclopedia of Faeries, I liked it so much! An average rating of over four stars is rare for me and I'm really happy about it!

I finally finished it last night! 🎉
I preferred book one, but it was still a very solid story that kept me interested to the end. A very cool classic fantasy series! I just wish I'd read it sooner. I've forgotten so many things and at times was very confused

We've got our first Mini-Challenge of 2025! 🎉 What are you reading?

I'm still undecided. I had my February TBR planned and have to start again from scratch. I'm pretty sure I'll read She Who Became the Sun. Apart from that...no clue!

What did I just read? I can't say I'm sure I entirely understand this novella. Maybe I'm not supposed to. But the writing was so beautiful that I had to keep on reading. It reminded me a bit of Becky Chambers or How You Lose the Time War. No clue which #52BookClub prompt I'm going to use it for

I've just finished Beren and Lúthien by #Tolkien - I had such a great time diving back into this story, it felt like coming home to my favourite writer. It was nice to see how it changed over time. The illustrations by Allan Lee are amazingly beautiful!

Project Hail Mary prompt 40 - Stream of consciousness
