The improvement thought I’ve had is whether to do the current method for giving air (take the pipe in and out - which is pretty instinctive but means having to get a good seal each time it goes in) or try using it with my breathplay manifold.

Ahhhh - I’ve done exactly the same with a soft ended hose. The size of pipe is definitely critical for a good seal!

In theory the one way valve in the mask intake should prevent air getting back out but they’re usually imperfect especially when the flow in is blocked.
