...as an intentional non-driver my issue is not with lack of re-paving per se - I'm after the improvements that make the streets safer and more inviting (or even useful at all!) for pedestrians, cyclists, transit users and people with disabilities.

yes - asset inflation due to easy money is a tax on the young in favor of the old... More pronounced if we're looking at mean though, due to the long tail of v rich I'd imagine....

If noone is willing to pay the new H1B fees or come to the US given the capricious treatment of immigrants maybe some high skill jobs will go unfilled.

^this - it ought to be fine and normal to breast feed in public! Breasts in this context should not be seen as sexual. The paradox here is that too much attention from men is the problem so these men being so interested is exactly wrong. And segregating mom's is scary I think.
