I laid it out to snaps quick picture and the ground was wet (the spots on the left). I have to add the border, but I think my grandson will like it. I may not be the best quilter, but I get a little better with every project.

I think I have the layout decided!

I spent today making squares for my first grandson’s quilt. Sometimes I question my sanity to have started quilting and other times I marvel at the beautiful things made with my own hands.

I have a buddy that went to WA for a few days and came home with about 30 pounds of fabric. Like how? He asked what I would have done and I said I would have looked and been sad that I have to be responsible and pay bills. If nothing else I have some self control, even in the face of pretty fabric.

In the process of piecing together a quilt and I don’t like it at all for the person I was making it for. I guess I’ll finish it and donate it so someone can enjoy it.
