2/2 Do they find anything with these searches? Could there be an exemption for senior fans? The food and drink offerings in the stadium are miserable and unappealing. A welcoming area on arrival might make the world of difference.

A thought provoking piece Chris. As a "senior" fan (I'm 71 and have been going to The Hawthorns for 63 years) it will bethe transport issues and poor matchday experience that will finish me off. I've been to big sports events all over the world and never been "frisked" as vigorously as at our club.

Saw him at Liverpool last Friday. Brilliant show from the greatest living British singer/songwriter.
