Happy Thanksgiving!

As we enjoy precious time with loved ones, let’s not forget those struggling with food insecurity.

Even a small donation of food, money or time can make a big difference. Please consider supporting a nearby food pantry.

Improved allergen labeling will help protect the nearly 2 million New Yorkers living with food allergies.

My legislation to list allergens on prepackaged foods was signed into law earlier this month to give residents peace of mind–and save lives.

I joined the Westchester County Association last night to celebrate the organization's 75 years of driving economic growth across Westchester and supporting both new and established businesses.

Congratulations on this remarkable milestone!

Requiring allergen labels on all packaged foods, including those prepared or packaged in-store, is a commonsense step that will help protect nearly 2 million New Yorkers living with food allergies.

I’m proud to have passed this legislation to strengthen public health and keep our communities safer.

The Putnam CAP helps over 400 families in Putnam County each month.

I spoke with Director Marisa O’Leary about how the state and community can support their vital work. They need volunteers and financial donations; every bit helps.

Texas doesn't care about climate change.

They are building renewables because they are the most economical form of energy and quickest to scale.

During #NationalSchoolLunchWeek, let’s remember: well-nourished students learn better.

That’s why I worked with my colleagues and the Governor to secure $360M for NY’s Universal School Meal Program, guaranteeing a nutritious breakfast and lunch for all 2.7M of our students.

Thank you to WE ACT 4 Change for inviting me to join last night’s webinar on advancing climate initiatives in New York.

Despite federal rollbacks, we are making real progress statewide and preparing for another critical legislative session ahead.

The retention of this officer by ICE despite clear video of him assaulting an innocent woman is outrageous.

Everyone is entitled to due process and professionalism when dealing with law enforcement.

This shows ICE’s disdain for the community and the rule of law.

“Since 2010, the cost of clean energy tech has dropped by 60-90%.

Thanks to that price drop, over 90% of new solar and wind projects built last year now generate electricity at a lower cost than even the least expensive coal or gas option."

Thank you the Lake George Association for hosting today’s Road Salt Reduction Summit. NY's drinking water is at risk from rising salinity; reservoirs like Amawalk could be undrinkable in 30 yrs if we don’t act. The Adirondacks’ use of brine & sand versus road salt should be scaled statewide.

It’s essential that we honor and respect the veterans who have bravely defended our nation.

Dedicating this section of Route 35 to Westchester County’s Purple Heart recipients is a meaningful way to recognize those who have given so much in service to our country.

I hosted a roundtable with area environmental leaders for a discussion on the health of the Adirondacks and strategies to protect this invaluable natural resource.

The state will need to prioritize environmental funding in response to recent federal rollbacks.
