I was actually surprised they went with something that's not too explicit and can be read either way. But I guess it goes with what YoshiP said back then about leaving things open for players go imagine their relationships. I also heard their dynamic is different in JP, so there's that, too.

Hah, I feel you there. In my case, my WoL was indisposed during the time frame of the story, to say the least. So I guess it's realistic she would only learn of it now. Because Y'shtola just didn't see the need to mention it lol.

S'gata Nunh, father of the Warrior of Light.

A sailor from Limsa Lominsa, he left his life at sea behind to become Nunh of a quiet village and loved nothing more than to share stories of his travels with his children. He passed away some time before The Calamity.

As the eldest son, he is the one who takes care of the day to day affairs of the village.
