Ageing rock chick. Always Labour, left of centre, woke and proud of it. Here because X has become so toxic.
And Robert Peston - that nasal drawl and the hesitancy is truly annoying!

Childish and foolish I am not! My patience has been eroded by misstep after misstep, mistake after mistake. As a Waspi who has a very small private pension, the removal of the WFA, the refusal to pay compensation to Waspi's and the frantic U-turns means I have no confidence in this Labour govt.

This article sums it up for me, I woke up the morning after the election feeling confident that things would change for the better. But any good Labour has done, and they have done a lot of good things, have been overshadowed by mistakes,. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...
‘I thought the grownups were back in charge!’: John Crace on how Labour shattered his expectations

I don't support Your Party or Corbyn/Sultana, it's been a fiasco from the start but Starmer, Reeves et al are doing a fine job of splitting the Labour vote themselves, they need to go back to Labour roots, this lot aren't left! The way they're going Reform are going to get in, that's scary!

She's a sewer of hate.
Can understand why they gave the details, however, if something else happens around the country and no details are given the racists will be all over it.....damned if they do detail and damned if they don't.
Wishing for a swift recovery to all involved.

I read this earlier and usually laugh at John Crace's columns but can't find any humour in this, it's absolutely tragic!

Shame on this incarnation of Labour.

No. Lifelong Labour voter here, nearly 50 years and I voted Lib Dem last time. I couldn't vote for a party that diverges so far from my values.
I even voted for Corbyn even though I didn't think he was right for the country but this lot aren't Labour, they're a disgrace!

What a plonker! He’s issued an apology today on Insta, sorry if he offended anyone yesterday. Not sorry for anything else. He certainly hasn’t done himself any favours!
