A strike at SEPTA has been averted.
SEPTA and its largest union, Transport Workers Local 234, have announced a tentative deal that will ensure continued delays of bus, trolley, subway, and elevated train lines around Philadelphia.

SEPTA is currently working with Mayor Cherelle Parker - @cherelleparker.bsky.social to negotiate a change in current policies that will re-allow shiesties to be permitted on all SEPTA transit.
