Yao Japanese Garden at Bellevue Botanic Garden.

An early evening walk yesterday. While the rural nature of Sequim is changing, it's still bucolic.

Today was warm enough to get a quick 19.70 mile ride in from Camp Creek trailhead to Spruce Railroad trailhead. Great ride, beautiful scenery, almost nobody on the trail.

These beautiful artifacts are just under 2,500 years old. They were found sometime this century and pieced back together.
Our democracy lasted less than 300 years. How long before it's put back together?

This trip is coming to an end. Too soon I’ll be back in the midst of dealing with my country turning into a authoritarian dictatorship. Sigh.
