I GASPED when I read who he was played by later that night. 😂 Love that for him!

SPELLING BEE was delightful as well! It’s as funny as ever and I’m so grateful to get to see a production fills with great talent. Justin Cooley and Jasmine Amy Roger’s are the standouts but really enjoyed this entire casts. Was revitalized by my latest trip to NYC. ❤️

I saw Caissie in FROZEN and thought she was talented but the show was whatever and I’m glad I got to see her again because she shook me to my core in RAGTIME. Hope they eventually bring her NEXT TO NORMAL to Broadway after all.

I really also loved RAGTIME. It’s a musical I’ve obsessed with, growing up a theater nerd and finally seeing it live stirred my spirit. I pretty much cried the entirety of the show… yes, even the happy moments. 🥰 I feel like the Best Actress Tony is Caissie Levy’s to lose… what a POWERHOUSE.

ANTHEM brings the house down and can’t wait to listen to this recording on repeat. Lea Michele’s Nobody’s Side is obvs also a standout and it’s nice to see her more restrained after the massive performance she gave in FUNNY GIRL. Arson Tveit: thank you for dancing in your undies… you are so brave. 🥲

A few other thoughts… the cast of CHESS is electric but the standout WITHOUT QUESTION is Nicholas Christopher. He managed to outshine two of the greatest Broadway talents of our time without breaking a sweat. Lea Michele and Aaron Tveit are in top-form and fit this score like butter but DAMN.
