I got to attend a class on testing out different acrylic mediums at my local art store. I had no idea things like this existed!

A canvas taped in a grid with each square containing a test swatch. Top two rows are a rose peach color, and the 3rd row is an iridescent gray. All swatches have different textures, ranging from grainy to bead-like, matte and gels, and some with higher walls. On the bottom right corner is a test of a tree using some of the different textures on the bark and leaves.

Another color done on this cross stitch! I'm loving the purples so far. Please also enjoy Wheatley happily smooshed between couch and window.

Fourth color done! These trees feel very Bob Ross to me. Though it won't stay Bob Ross for too much longer once I start the sky. (Bonus pic of Wheatley enjoying one of the few warm days we've had recently)

Started a new cross stitch project today! I'll try to update whenever I finish a color (No promises). Also, please enjoy the newest Norman pic.

Cross stitch project. Just a few teal lines so far.

Norman the cat lays along the couch almost fully stretched on his side. His eyes are mostly closed and his cheek is smushed against the couch.

This is Norman. I think he's very cute. That is all.

I haven't painted since I moved back in April, so yesterday I tried a mini painting. The mini canvas was a lot of fun, might try more. Found the inspo on Pinterest.

Second ever cross stitch project was a gift for the hubby. I used glow in the dark thread for the stars, which I got as a gift back when the reddit gift exchange was still a thing.
