Only chance is for another party to gain a significant grassroots following without a direct Rejoin narrative, but a hopeful 'better EU relations' direction, and somehow hit all the right buttons to win over the fence-sitters and get into power. Then spend a term garnering respect...

Should? Yes. Can they? Doubtful. Current Labour are just Tory-lite and seem desperate to appeal to Reform voters, so no chance there. Any alternative party running on a Rejoin pledge has no hope of getting in to power, as they alienate not only the right-wing but also those who 'respect the vote'.

I'm just starting to wonder if people at SE are panicking about how much hype there is for a nonexistent remake and just throwing all this stuff out to "make up for it", inadvertently driving up more hype.
