And then I would never try to improve something that came out looking wrong. I would just say, yeah next time it will be better. Without trying to improve in the moment. All this time I always said next time and never tackled what I wasn't able to do. This were the scales, didn't like them

I don't draw that consistently but I think what really made the difference was getting out of my comfort zone. As in, I would not draw something difficult and tell myself I would do it when I got "better" but never actually ended up doing it, so no improvement cuz I would never put myself out there
