I know what he’s saying now and I still think trans folks would be objectively better off (knowing what we know now). I don’t think she would have been good for trans folks for the reasons Hasan mentioned. It’s just a silly argument to have.

And trans folks would still be better off right now under a Harris administration. I am not a fan of hers, but things would be objectively better since she wouldn’t wield 2 branches of the government against trans folks.

How is he right? I have a hard time believing that Kamala would block trans folks from getting accurate passports, continuing to serve in the military, obtaining affordable GAC, and not being labeled a domestic threat.

That concert impacted me and I think it’s literally because you are… YOU! I didn’t know what that meant at the time, but I saw someone who wasn’t as bound by rules as I was. Of course I was the one who imposed those rules on myself. It was freeing to experience your personality through music.

I still talk about this concert with my Navy friends. Congrats on impacting my life in such a way, that gay sailors (redundant, I know) get a kick out of it 💖
