Recently watched "Downfall," an oscar-nominated movie about Hitler's final days. English subtitles. Hitler and Trump --brothers from different mothers. And both had a penchant for bunkers. Simply fantastic movie!

Weeks ago, had such a bad taste in my mouth from Trump's demagoguery, went looking for a book about a great politician. Read "Churchhill: Walking With Destiny." A leader with unalloyed courage, immune to the consensus of the day...he actually placed country above politics. Imagine that.

Every day, Trump, et. al., say or do something even more unbelievably horrific. I've started grabbing my camera and heading out to search for serenity anywhere I can find it. I shot this photo of a male swan, gliding effortlessly across a pond at dusk. Serenity accomplished.

@cemeteryclub.bsky.social Love these cemeteries! I submit a humble photo I took of a cemetery in the Amana colonies in Iowa. Front right grave dated 1870. Church members were buried in chronological order of death, essentially making the entire cemetery a "family plot." Fascinating history!
