I don't think there's associated thoughts? it feels like I'll be in the middle of something and it'll start seeping in without warning, then once my brain has a minute to think, it'll register "oh, it is time to be sad now"

doesn't 100% line up with my period (since I've had bouts outside the end of the month) but it sucks to get sucked into it and basically need someone else to take the controls from me for a few days while whatever this is mellows out
