The exception for people coming on work visas don't seem to include a $500K cap (the cap seems to be only for people coming on a student visa):

Another fantastic event at C4E. More proof that no matter how incompetent your director is, if you have a good thing going, it'll go ahead even better on its own (you can stream it if you can't be there in person you can stream it.
