Many of us have gone to marches, contacted legislators many many many times, etc. And have showed up to vote every single time.

To make real change we need a general strike, but that won’t ever happen. Right now Epstein & Trump’s economy have been the only things that have cracked GOP solidarity.

Because infrastructure funds jobs in red states. So red state politicians went along with it. Everything they didn’t got overturned by Trump’s SCOTUS.

Biden’s admin counted abortion access as required emergency medical care.

(They are both gone, but now we have assholes like Fetterman as the new Sinema/Manchin.)

And we had 2 holdout senators who would not kill the filibuster when we had the Senate.
December 3, 2025 at 11:19 PM
This is the system we currently have. Meanwhile, citizens are passing referenda and state constitutional amendments to protect rights.

There is no excuse for allowing genocide. But we had more of a chance to stop it.

Executive orders protecting our rights federally were what we had.

So now we are playing catch up at the state level to shore up abortion rights state by state.

I absolutely think it should be legal. But the filibuster exists, and it had to be a part of the planning. If we can’t get the law to pass the Senate, it can’t make it to the desk of POTUS to sign it.

We had our chance to fucking vote, over and over, and warned people we would lose Roe if we didn’t solidify legislative numbers (state and federal). And yet…
December 3, 2025 at 11:01 PM
Math is not your strong suit, apparently.
December 3, 2025 at 10:56 PM
Do you remember a time when we have had control of all 3 branches, including a filibuster-proof majority of the Senate, AND >50% public support for Roe?
December 3, 2025 at 10:55 PM
There have been cases where they have detained people regardless of showing ID, saying the ID is fake, either through willful ignorance or lying.
December 3, 2025 at 10:47 PM
Yes, Miller set a 3000 person/day quota.
December 3, 2025 at 10:41 PM
Kavenaugh Stop.
December 3, 2025 at 10:40 PM
Already have.
December 3, 2025 at 10:39 PM
They already have. It’s been on the agenda.
December 3, 2025 at 10:37 PM
How did he “give up on Roe”? That was a SCOTUS decision and he did not have control of Congress.
December 3, 2025 at 10:37 PM
Those desserts are still gonna taste awesome.
December 3, 2025 at 1:26 PM
And maybe you don’t want to buy an entire can of baking powder or baking soda to make one dessert.
December 3, 2025 at 1:25 PM
Gerrymandering and voter suppression too.
December 3, 2025 at 1:23 PM
Nashville results vs all results?
December 3, 2025 at 1:22 PM
True, but those folks may need to avoid traveling out of the country when they are no longer in their jobs.
