This is an inescapable, unmistakeable example of the current administration being autocratic - a fascist dictatorship. They are building strength to hold on when they steal the next election and we resist.

That’s because you don’t do physical labor. By 65 many people, from housekeepers, to nurses, to police, construction workers, plant workers, ag workers, etc are used up. Me, sittting at a drawing board, desk or computer, I was fine at 78. Stop this one size fits all, hard cutoff BS.

I see that as hardball politics. Many people who vote Democratic love Bernie, me included, but he’s not a Dem. He caucuses with them but he’s not a Dem. They wanted their own. Could he have beat Trump? Bernie is the Left’s Trump - an iconoclastic plain speaker for working folks.

After years of inflation you need a higher bar. Average income is $40k. Average HHI is $83.7k. Congress needs intelligent people who make good choices, work hard, like others, control their emotions, are lifelong learners and are team builders. That’s over $100k almost anywhere.

In the 00s I tried to convince a Republican’t brother-in-law that the fight against Climate Change was not a way to send his taxes to African and island nations but a way to save the American coastline and many inland cities from very expensive disasters. He couldn’t understand. Too much Faux News.

One citizen-one vote would be fair. With the artificial bias of the Electoral College it only takes 174,000 votes to gain an EC vote in Wyo. and 700,000 votes to gain an EC vote in Tex. or Calif. Because candidates can lose the popular vote and win the EC only a handful of swing states matter.

This is what we need and fast and nationwide. There aren’t going to be any more fair and open elections unless we fill the streets and empty businesses bank accounts.
