Yea, the drs they send you to is basically a set up. If you want SSI, you need as much as you can get to back up your claims. But honestly it’s not even a living wage, and if you can work for extra money, they don’t let you earn much.

I know, it’s so hard to find a good Dr that actually listens and shit. But don’t let them brush you off to see one of their drs and that’s all. I saw one and he said “well you’ve got a perfectly good head on your shoulders” and dismissed everything else.

To get on SSI you really need a great Dr to back you up in my experience. I had one really go to bat for me at my court interview thing that was like “she meets this requirement, and this one, etc”
