While I didn't necessarily do the shards often, I did often load up the game very specifically to just wonder around various maps, checking off the "boring" quests, and listen to the ambiance and occasional banter. One of my favorite aspects of the game

This is, unfortunately, how I feel about Origins. It's not only my favorite Dragon Age game but my favorite game of all time. However, the way some Origins fanboys act online makes me want nothing to do with them
