Yes, that is very, very wrong; it is not genocide. Saying it is is disingenuous and, again, destroys the ability make any credibility with the ignorant and right right wingers who may have started questioning this admin, because even they know this isn’t genocide by any definition.

No. This may be a precursor to one, but nothing is actively occurring yet that could even remotely be considered genocide in the U.S. overreactions like this make it easier for MAGA and other right wingers to ignore and pretend we’re just crazy.

If I moved to anywhere in Europe, it’d be one of the Baltic nations; I’d spend my whole life trying to live up to the badassery of Estonians, Lithuanians, and Latvians, and most likely wouldn’t succeed.

It took me a while to stop viewing everything as “God’s will” and “God’s law”. Perhaps I still am brainwashed, because I *do* still believe in God, but more as an omnipresent friend. Naive of me perhaps….but comforting when I am alone.

“May”? We absolutely will, companies have found the stupidest reasons to raise prices. We’re never seeing pre-tariff prices again, cuz they’ll find a dumbfuck way to justify keeping those prices.

I’m not proud of how I reacted to Kaepernick during that time. Not only was it just not that bad, I was just too naive, and yeah, privileged to think for a moment about what bringing attention to these issues was doing.

I’d love to know how, see is liberals just spent 4 years undoing the damage of Trump’s first term and famously haven’t attempted to overthrow the US government during a major temper tantrum. And the crux of my argument is not that “libs” aren’t on welfare at all, it’s that they didn’t vote for this.

I get the geopolitics fantasy played out here, but California is more likely to be Canadian by choice than it ever is to be Mexican by any means; not only would Mexico hesitate draw any sort of conventional military pressure, but even the most leftward Californians would pause at joining a narco st.

His Crisis of confidence speech made me realize a lot of what I’d heard about him as a teen just didn’t track. The man was too good for the job he took.
