The books I'm reading right now. Sisters in the Wind (Angeline Boulley) and No One Knew (Kendra Elliot) are review copies. I don't know anything about Guardians of Dreamdark except that Laini Taylor is an amazing writer. 💙📚 #booksky

Estimates of 300,000 people marched across the Sydney Harbour Bridge demanding an end to the genocide in Gaza.
Worth noting that the Jewish Council of Australia is standing with Palestinian groups and the general public who are all horrified at what the IDF and Netanyahu are doing.

Up next will be a review copy of Bad Indians Book Club by Patty Krawec. Not entirely sure what to expect but I read a lot of Native American authors and as an outsider (White Australian) I hope it makes me a better reviewer when talking about indigenous stories. Published in September.

Are you #coffee or #tea? I mostly drink coffee, maybe 3 or 4 cups per day, generally a strong Flat White. But I also will have a cup of tea most days. Usually Earl Grey or Australian Afternoon…occasionally Irish Breakfast.

What's your favorite brew?

Anthony Waddle PhD appeared on #GardeningAustralia talking about a virus that is pushing many frog species worldwide to the brink (video in comments). He created a cheap solution, a frog sauna where they can heal themselves. Mine cost $30.

Just starting a review copy of The Lone Wolf Café by Sydney Wilder … from the cover I'm guessing cute quirky lesbian paranormal romance. 💙📚 #booksky

Women in House of Representatives in Australia.

Liberal National Party are Conservative. Labor are Progressive / Centre Left. The Liberals notoriously once said they choose candidates on merit. Those Independents are mostly women from conservative seats. I would suggest they disagree.

#Hospitals should have outdoor areas where patients can meet their pets. #Pets can help in the healing process and improve the overall wellbeing of everyone from staff to patients.

Not the 1950s, this picture was taken at Rep. Mike Lawler's (R.N.Y.) town hall. He claims he is a moderate.
Emily Feiner asked him what his red line is. At what point will he stand up for the Constitution he swore an oath to defend?
Lawler had her removed by State Police.

As an atheist it might seem strange that I'm reading Christian Romance and if you asked why, my honest answer would be, "Accidentally."
There are christians and right wing christians and they're not the same thing. Hopefully this book is the former and not the latter. 💙📚 #booksky

Killing time, waiting for the dog to be finished at the groomer. XS Espresso in Northmead has great coffee and food but I think I might struggle to eat all of that.
