If your day job is sapping all of that energy, quit. Find something different to do. Different domain, different tech stack.

If it’s not that, come up with the least serious most inconsequential project to build. Drop your self expectations as far as possible. The goofier the better.

Let me know what you think of it! It's uncomfortable at first. The workflow is different. But if you lean in, the killer feature for me is it streamlines working on multiple concurrent branches.

This was a great general git talk. This is how I first heard of it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=aolI...

Vars and loops for 30+ years definitely starts to feel repetitive after a while. 😬

Also find some Android devs to talk to. They’ve been using Kotlin a long time now. 👌 Longer than the server teams at Atlassian, anyway.

Both? I think? Sum of all parts? I had a similar experience in .NET over a decade ago. Debugger, IDE refactoring tools, etc. all sped me up as a dev 10x.

Vscode has some of these refactoring features with TS, but they always miss things. I assume this because it’s still js. Strict type systems ftw

You might take a look at AutoGen or CrewAI. I think it’s pretty straightforward to define a few agents, their roles, and give them a task.

I’ve mostly just watched YouTube videos on them, but it honestly looks pretty approachable.
