text messages in 2025 are a complete wasteland. Scam recruiters, MFA tokens, restaurant promotions, more scam recruiters, appointment reminders (if you miss these buried under the spam the appointment is canceled), receipts, scam recruiters. Maybe I send or receive one real text a week or so?

i've come to realize that improving at literally everything in my life comes down to pattern recognition. chess and other games, math, programming, interviews, relationships. There's a reason why our brains love searching for patterns in things from an early age.

it's been 16 years since the fan translation of mother 3 came out and it still has never received an official localization yet by Nintendo. in contrast I think almost every ace attorney game has been translated by now including the ones with copyright infringement issues
