I think one of the hardest life lessons to come to terms with is that not everyone on this earth will like you. Not everyone will get along with you, even if you try your hardest to do things right and make sure people feel included. Thats ok, the world is nuanced and sometimes personalities

People don’t want a social media website that consists of tons of microcommunities independently moderated from each other slapped together, they want one giant website they can put minimal effort into and just live their lives on.

This seems to be lost on the moderation.

Everyone is missing the forest for the trees here: Bluesky was designed to be like mastodon, we all jumped onto the primary server because it’s like Twitter; of course they’re going to act like this. “Don’t like it? Make your own.” Federated social media was always dead in the water. Nobody wants it

This issue is causing packet loss on the tail end, which is causing inconsistencies in my internet. The cable guy thinks this is likely the issue and it should be resolved within a week, so that’s good.

But gotta love Xfinity deadass just giving me incorrect information until the guy comes to out

The plot thickens and actually the people on the phone were wrong my house is on coax but somehow we still get 2 GB down and 300 mbps upload so I have no fucking idea about anything anymore lmao
