Did it briefly as a teen in the UK. Hard work earning little for only months a year. Experienced, dedicated east Europeans made more reasonble money but only viable as camping on site Long termers had caravans and took £ to invest / overwinter at home. Not a long term career option for locals.

They are specialsts at rapid unscheduled disassembly. Looks glorious for a minute (from one perspective), then rains harm and pollution on the world.

Switching to see-through AR and lightweight, cool, in both meanings of the word headsets. Thats the only way to get mass traction. That's not going to be Quest 4 though.

One phrase that really stuck with me from my masters, 20 plus years ago: "we are building out the infrastructure for totalitarian control". Can't recall the name of who said it unfortunately, and it seems buried in the Google mind, just remember it was a woman. Anyone know?
