I did it. I beat Engage Maddening. I definitely had my issues towards the end of the run but all in all this is still a fantastic experience, Engage is a fantastic game and I can finally say I’m competent at Fire Emblem now

I am glad I made the decision to try maddening but, I don’t think I can ever play this difficulty ever again. From the start of the game until chapter 21? Maddening is super fun. Great time. Engage is a tough but fair game that gives you the tools you need to succeed to where even someone like me-

I’m generally not the kinda guy who plays Fire Emblem at its highest difficulty but I decided to try out Engage on Maddening and it’s been pretty fun! I’m past chapter 10, which almost forced a reset by the way, and it’s been a lot fairer than I expected from a highest difficulty. Hate the exp cut-

They’re all level 100 after all the postgame stuff but this was my team! Chesnaught, Talonflame and Absol were consistent gap fillers till I got everything

Took me 18 shinies but I have FINALLY gotten a hunting target of mine, this was the proof I needed that I could hunt in this game. I may not enjoy the methods but I can at least go after the prime targets knowing that I can still succeed. Oh my God, finally dude
