4️⃣ "Rye bread Presidency": Denmark’s 2012 presidency stood out for its green credentials, earning ISO 20121 certification for sustainable event management. It was the first EU presidency to do so. #EUPresidency

3️⃣ Trio Presidency collaboration: in 2012, Denmark teamed up with Poland and Cyprus in the first-ever Trio Presidency, a format designed to provide policy continuity across an 18-month period. #EUPresidency

1️⃣ Denmark’s EU journey began in 1973: Denmark joined the European Communities on 1st January 1973, alongside Ireland and the UK. This was the first enlargement of the EC, expanding it beyond the original six founding members.

Indeed - I noticed that the 4 principles on European preference for procurement have disappeared. It started with something like "First, search for an EU solution". In the final version the EU preference is only mentioned once … 👀

Sometimes I am wondering if there is a special taskforce to decide on the acronym and how it matches the key message!
